No sé si t’hauràs quedat alguna vegada atrapat dins una església tot sol en ple hivern i negra nit, sense poder obrir la porta per sortir, sense mòbil... Si no és així t’ho explico: Wissel, Alemanya, gener 2023, ni un ànima al carrer, església de St. Clemens: l’he somiada i per això hi entro, tanco la porta, passejo pel temple, i quan vull sortir no puc obrir-la. (Per fora té un minúscul cartell que, evidentment, no havia vist: “...lamentablement la porta no és gens fàcil d’obrir...” * Es veu que a Alemanya no hi ha ni un manyà per arreglar-la.)

Die Tür (la puerta)
No sé si te habrás quedado alguna vez atrapado en una
iglesia solo, en pleno invierno y negra noche, sin poder abrir la puerta para
salir, sin móvil… Si no es así te lo explico: Wissel, Alemania, enero 2023, ni
un alma en la calle, iglesia de St. Clemens: la he soñado y por eso entro,
cierro la puerta, paseo por el templo y cuando quiero salir no puedo abrirla.
(Por fuera tiene un minúsculo cartel que, evidentemente no había visto:
“…lamentablemente no es fácil abrir la puerta…”* Por lo visto no hay en
Alemania un cerrajero para arreglarla.)

Die Tür. Serie von vier Blättern, die Ende Januar 2023 gemalt wurden.
Ich weiß nicht, ob Sie jemals mitten im Winter und in der
Dunkelheit der Nacht allein in einer Kirche stecken geblieben sind und die Tür
nicht öffnen konnten, um herauszukommen, ohne Handy ... Wenn nicht, werde ich
es Ihnen erklären: Wissel, Deutschland, Januar 2023, keine Menschenseele auf
der Straße, Kirche St. Clemens: Ich habe davon geträumt und deshalb gehe ich
hinein, schließe die Tür, schaue mich im Tempel um. Und als ich wieder hinaus
möchte, kann ich die Tür nicht öffnen. (Auf der Außenseite befindet sich ein
winziges Schild, das ich offensichtlich nicht gesehen habe: "...leider
lässt sich die Tür nicht leicht öffnen..." * Man sieht, dass es in Deutschland
keinen Schlosser gibt, der die Tür reparieren könnte.)

Die Tür (The door). Series of four illustrations painted at the end of January 2023
