Família: pare, mare i sis germans (dos homes i quatre dones) són la font d'aquestes vuit làmines pintades durant la primera quinzena de gener del 2021. Així els he vist, excepte a mi mateix, que no em puc veure més que al mirall (i dels miralls no me'n fio gaire.)
Sobre làmines en blanc, un traç ràpid i espontani de pintura negra (en un cas blanca sobre fons negre) vol representar allò que vam rebre en la incursió d'un espermatozoide en un òvul. La resta són línies, formes, colors, coses que s'hi han anat afegint o perdent amb el pas del temps...

Familia: padre, madre y seis hermanos (dos hombres y cuatro mujeres) son la fuente de estas ocho láminas pintadas durante la primera quincena de enero de 2021. Así los he visto, excepto a mí mismo, que no puede verme más que en el espejo (y de los espejos no me fio mucho).
Sobre láminas en blanco, un trazo rápido y espontáneo de pintura negra (en un caso blanca sobre fondo negro) quiere representar lo que recibimos en la incursión de un espermatozoide en un óvulo. El resto son líneas, formas, colores, cosas que se han ido añadiendo o perdiendo con el paso del tiempo.

Familie: Vater, Mutter und sechs Geschwister (zwei Jungen und vier Mädchen) sind die Quelle dieser acht Blätter, gemalt während der ersten Januarhälfte 2021. So hab ich sie gesehen; nur mich selbst nicht, mich kann ich nur im Spiegel betrachten (und Spiegeln vertrau ich nicht so sehr).
Über weissen Blättern, ein schneller und spontaner schwarzer Strich (in einem Fall weiss auf schwarzem Grund) soll darstellen, was wir beim Zusammentreffen eines Samenfadens und einer Eizelle erhalten. Alles andere sind Linien, Formen, Farben, Dinge die hinzugefügt wurden oder sich verloren haben im Laufe der Zeit.

Family: father, mother and six siblings (two men and four
women) are the source of these eight illustrations painted during the first fortnight
of January 2021. That is how I have seen them, except myself, who can only see
me in the mirror (and I don't trust mirrors much). On blank plates, a quick and spontaneous stroke of black
paint (in one case white on a black background) wants to represent what we
receive in the foray of a sperm into an egg. The rest are lines, shapes,
colors, things that have been added or lost over time.
